Description: Wow, good morning and a warm welcome from this intense fiery blend. This dark roasted blend of high grown Arabica’s with the finest Congo Robusta’s creates a warm balanced cup with lively fragrant flavours, which when added to perfectly tempered milk creates a bitter sweet chocolate.
Peruvian Producer: CEPROAP
Located in the region of Pichanaki, the coffee here is grown at 1650m above sea level by smallholder producers who hand pick the beans in June-October, wash, clean by hand and then sun dry their harvest.
Honduran Producers: COAGRICSAL COPROCAEL
Located in the regions of Copán & Ocotopeque, the coffee here is grown 1000-1500m above sea level by smallholder producers who hand pick the beans in December-February, wash, clean by hand and then sun dry their harvest.
Guatemalan Producer: FEDECOCAQUA
Located across Huehuetenango, Cobán, Verapaces, Retalhuleu, San Marcos, and Zacapa and grown at 1900m above sea level by a large number of smallholder coffee producers who hand pick the beans in January-June, wash, clean by hand and sun dry their harvest.
Congolese Producer: CDI Bwamanda
The coffee is purchased from the 'Centre of Development' (CDI). This is an independent NGO which markets the coffee grown in Bwamanda region. Part of the revenue goes to the individual farmer, part is kept for the development of the community. The robusta beans are grown at 250m above sea level and hand picked in December and March.
